I worked in retail for Walgreens 9 and half years.
I now work for a sprecialty injectable mail order pharmacy in the clinical department.
I have been on leave due to some health issues that should be resolved in the next few months.

It makes sens about the inderal/propranolol.
I cannot get of the stuff!
My pulse and pressure spikes everytime I try to ween off, it really sucks.

I have not worked in the retail pharmacy setting for at least 3 years.
I do not do any filling. I have my own desk and team that only takes the orders via the phone or fax from the MDO's.
We mostly do injectable meds neupogen, procrit, growth hormone, and send the components to mix chemo IV bags for home healthcare.
We take the initial order and send the info to the pharmacy where it is filled
I prefer this to the retail side of the business.
I work for a division of Express Scripts.

IV mixing is covered in CPhT exam if you have taken it.
I know it is covered in the training manual.
There are courses you can take but they are very exspensive.
When I worked for Walgreens I taught the classes.
Just get a study book.
