In any situation, there is nothing wrong with what you are doing. You are entitled to be selfish, and there isn't any rule I know of that says you have to acquiesce to any kind of reason to do otherwise. You and your kids are the sum total of your life and all of that comes first
It was so nice. I wish you had been able to come out for a couple of days. If you aren't ready, it is just that simple. Perhps things will change when he does get close to ETS, but in the meantime, show the kids a fun game called "weed the lawn and garden"
I have given up 2 houses to relationships, and I have no plans to ever do so again. It was an expensive habit I was willing to break. Lol.
It was a painful streak of optomism and goodwill on my part. I learned far too late to become selfish and do what was right for myself and my kids. All I can do at this point is take stock of the shit I put myself through before, and do the realistic thing.

I kid of course. You say these things and in some ways you are right, it is selfish, but that's like asking an artist to not appreciate the work he has put in. You worked long and hard to achieve what you have and you have the right to enjoy it the way you want. Relationships are about compromise and it seems though your not ready to do that, so don't. Not saying the guy gets a hand out or easy ride or anything, what you own is yours and what he has is his and obviously you want to keep it that way, so if it's getting past that and your not comfortable then move on. As simple as that.
