i dont want something like that to happen to me either. its really fuckin scary thinking that someone you once loved enough to marry could just turn around and hate you.

Two and half kids and one husband is not the standard these days. I'm not sure what the divorce statistics are anymore but last time I checked was 4 years ago and they were greater than 50%. Really sucks that family values and long term relationships don't last.

Yeah, marriage rates are not good these days, but I don't think marriage is taken seriously by many people. My best friend got married, and I knew it wasn't right, and she admits now after being divorced years ago that they only did it because that is what was expected of them at the time. Fucked up! Just make sure that you know what you want!
I went through a divorce - but my ex was from Russia - so she just split and flew back to Moscow... it was an easy divorce - whatever toys we ended up with were ours... so she got my laptop computer - but that was about it.
After 8 years.. we're best of friends again via email!
