Hi 🙃. So, since 2001 I have met only three people who have read the Dune Saga and a couple of people who started and quickly abandoned the story. I found the read tedious but the story was so rich and layered that I couldn't stop. You are the first person I've heard say it's an easy read haha! That's very cool. I'm so happy to know people are still seeking to know more than what the screens tell us. I hope you enjoy it. If you feel the story begin to drag, imagine how sometimes the wind dies down right before a storm hits. There is so much going on and the boring parts give you lots of insight into the character's mindset. The new adaptation is visually wonderful, but the film has the character's tell the audience exactly what's happening and that robs you of the feeling of excitement when you finally piece together what is going on. If you dig it, you should watch Sci-Fi Channel Presents Frank Herbert's Dune. It's low budget so it looks a bit cheesy but, they do a better job of allowing the story to unfold one section at a time. Oh jeez..sorry about the long comment. I just love Dune! Good luck to ya!

@sum_ofmyparts26 I'm on the first book 😆 you never know just yet. I didn't like the original movie at all but everyone said the book was better... and it is. I'm waiting to watch the newest movie until I'm done reading the first book. I did not realize it was 6 books in total 🙈🤣 My husband said he read 3 of the 6 so I'm confident that I can do the same, if not more. I appreciate your input on Dune! 🥰

@sum_ofmyparts26 I was going thru my old posts... I finished the whole saga last year. Honestly, I thought about how you said it's like the wind dies down before the storm. Helped me get thru the whole thing. I got OBSESSED with Dune! It's so good.
