The needles in my back in the pic on my profile were not premade by anyone. I personally don't think that is as "clean" as possible. How long are those prepared needles sitting around and/or traveling to be vended at events? I would never purchase them that way. Besides - what are people charging for them premade? Per needle? I buy a box of 100 needles for about $7.00 and a bag of feathers for about $2.00 that has probably 100+ feathers in it. For under $10 I have 100 needles to take flight.

I both pierce and am a piercee. When I do this - I will add the feathers as I go using a small amount of crafter's "Tacky Glue" by sticking the end of the feather into a little glob of glue you've squeezed out prior and then sticking the feather into the hub of the needle to affix the feather to the needle. It dries very quickly and is non toxic/water soluable. I've never had anyone be allergic yet - they are more likely to be allergic to the feather! This way, I can select the correct size of feather according to the design as I go. You can either do the feather before or after play piercing. And you can have the bottom do the glue job or you can do it depending on how the person(s) in the scene are doing with the piercing.

This method also allows you to go back and add feathers and/or colors for depth and/or color to the design.

Again, I think this method is likely to be "cleaner" (never sterile with needles anyway), more cost effective, and provides more design options.

PS - lighter color feathers work best in a darkened dungeon - while darker ones work in a lit or daylight dungeon/playspace.

Your mileage may vary and my opinion is only that - mine - and subject to someone else having a different one or the ability to innovate it!

Thanks for tonight. I hope we didn't come off as stand-offish. We both really enjoyed dinner, but the two of us are just such social retards when it comes to large groups that we kind of clammed up at the club. Also, it doesn't help when one of us is used to being in bed ny 10pm wink .

Please consider my offer. I know you brought up the issue of payment, but I'm really not worried about it. Mainly, I'm just looking for a reason to get up in the morning, and this sounds like it could benefit us both. The money can wait till you get paid, and you can pay me the apprentice wage biggrin

Anyway, just wanted to say thank you, and enjoy the weekend with the girls.

ARRR!!!

i've given up on cleaning. i mean, i keep my apartment clean enough so that i know where everything is, but full fledged cleaning is pointless. i always forget where i put everything and just make a mess again trying to find what i'm looking for. it's really lame.
