So, I've decided to suck it up. I'm beautiful, damnit, and there are bigger issues. Besides, eat right, workout and in four months I should be where I want to be! 
But I'm angry. My parents have been married 25 years and are getting a divorce. I didn't find out from them, I found out from my exboyfriend. cause that makes sense and all.

But think of it this way: they have had 25 years to live with each others best and worst sides. Sometimes they just can't tollerate the worst any more. And they were probably afraid to tell you, so they put it off too long. Many couples divorce after the children have grown, because there is no longer a reason to put up with each other any more.
