I stopped drinking milk when I was weaned. And I weaned myself when I was young.
I think it is the most disgusting thing on the planet.
I still eat some cheeses (and when I say some I mean it VERY particularly. Extra sharp white cheddar, swiss, parmesan, goat cheese, feta, boursin, rondele.) But I don't do yogurt, ice cream, sour cream, or whipped cream.
(I do like butter though.)
It wouldn't be very hard for me to give up milk products.
Sometimes I wonder if maybe I am lactose intolerant and that my body is protecting myself via my dislike. Apparently the cheeses I listed have less lactose in them. Who knows?
I don't think it would be that hard to avoid milk in scrambled eggs and bread. I actually think most bread doesn't contain milk; it's just things like biscuits and cornbread and stuff.
nah most does contain milk...either buttermilk, milk fat, and theres a bunch of other protiens and enzymes derived from milk that they contain. i'm down to alot of strictly whole grains and pitas now and i still have to be careful bout which ones i get. and being lactose intolerant and allergic to milk are 2 completely different monsters....lactose intolerance is when the stomach chemicals lack the enzymes to neutralize the milk's enzymes which actually causes the milk to ferment in the stomach. being allergic to milk just means i get like rashes/ swollen tongue/throat, excess flem, congestion of the respirtatory system and over all keeps my immune system in hyperdrive b/c it sees the milks enzymes as invaiders and is constantly trying to ride myself of them
