I know exactly how you feel, I don't even want pets for the most part, but I can't stand the thought of a pet not having a home. I think it has to do with the fact that I don't ever want to be homeless and unloved, so I don't want anyone, or anything, to be either. Unfortunately, we're just singular people, though, and can't always do anything. Sad.
