bankky:
I get that feeling when i hit gallery night here in Milwaukee, but then i go home and knock something out that tells me Fuck YEAH!!
xmt:
i think 'talent' is directly proportional to 'delusion'.
not always, but still true. biggrin

papawheelie:
just become a daddy? oh no. no no. I'm curious why you would ask!

my car is a 1936 chrysler coupe. it's got 12K original miles on it wooo!!
bombshellbetty:
Hey there! I personally think that critiquing a project is anethema to talent. When I'm creating, I try to worry about quantity rather than quality, and it seems to work. Much less pressure. smile

Good luck with your paintings!
xmt:
i think what i meant to say was 'inversely' proportional. confused

it's seems like there are so many people of dubious talent and are under the impression they are great, that they churn out massive amounts of work, self promote with no reservation, and then they 'are' great.

i don't know. maybe i should think about this more.

ps. i am trying to cheer you up. biggrin

the best cure for my artistic block is sleep deprivation.
xmt:
i don't read many comics. i mostly look at the pictures.

i've actually been asked to illustrate one just this week, so that's pretty exciting.
something new for me.
bombshellbetty:
Rushing art is my M.O. I always seem to be rushing to catch up with deadlines. *sigh*
throb:
I FEEL FOR YA...I KNOW THOSE BAD PAINTING NIGHTS.
I HAD BAD BAND PRACTICE LAST NIGHT. frown mad frown
FAILURE IS A MEANS OF EDUCATION AS WELL I GUESS. whatever
throb:
I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THOSE SMILIES.
I'M A LITTLE ILLITERATE IN THE TECH DEPT.
daniyell:
ugh, I know what you mean. Unfortunately, the feeling got to me and I haven't written anything in months. NOT GOOD!
