That show has been a permanent season pass on my Tivo for years. It's brilliant. The best part is, the first time the little alien gives the finger as they're flying away, he says, "I hope you can see this, because I'm doing it as hard as I can."

Yes, I agree, Marsters > Boreanaz. But AFAIK, Marsters had only shabby gigs like Smallville and such after Angel ended, so there's not much material to satisfy the craving with. Also, Boreanaz' performance in Seasons 1 and 2 was my major incentive to keep watching Buffy, which in the German dubbed version seemed a little too much like children's television to me at the time.
