Hi Al! Just wanted to drop by and say that I love like all of your posts in the boards . I have been lurking around there waiting for my account to get up. Now it did, and I wanted to thank you for making many of my days (if that is a gramatically correct way to use that saying)
As far as "dressing up" goes, I kinda like it, but I hate having to do it. I only want to wear a suit when I feel like it. Not just because it's the "proper" thing to do. But of course I have no fashion sense at all so...
For some ungodly reason unravled thinks I look like you naked. Don't ask me why.
Very nice to hear the weather in portland is nice. SF's been kind of confused about it's weather condition lately...sort of schizophrenic. Beauty and then torrential downpour moments later. Such is life.
I noticed while visiting Portland that people dressed even more casual than they do here. It's odd. I like it personally, but I do like the thought of looking smart now and again. I actually just bought myself a full suit for a wedding I'm going to tomorrow. It's the first time I've ever put one together for myself. I'm quite excited. I look hot in it.
I loved the filmed version of Name of the Rose. I should really read the book. I'm not in a bookie mood at the moment though. Life feels too transitory. I'm more into vignettes at the moment.
Actually, unless the rosy light of memory taints the tint of recollection, I remember you playing with both reasonably tight timing and a modicum of feel.
I like reading your posts and I think you are one of the hottest chicks on the site, but sometimes I just dont know what to say to some of your posts..(and I don't do speechless much.) (Pirates should be worshipped as gods..that is all.)
I got to within about 150 pages of the end of Quicksilver before I gave up. I was really let down. I heard such great things about that trilogy.
I've had "The Name of the Rose" and "Foucault's Pendulum" sitting in my bookshelf for ages, but I haven't read them yet. How is "The Name of the Rose" so far?
Yeah, no kidding about the jeans thing. My parents always take me out to Higgins or some place equally fantastic when they visit, and I feel like I should make a special effort to put on my clean sweatpants to match the de facto dress code.
