There i something to be said for attracting certain kinds of people. Someone who will overlook certain kinds of faults as you overlook their similar faults.

I wasn't looking for a husband...and I dating a few neat guys before meeting him. But damn, it didn't take long to fall madly in love!!! Oh no, not a tofu-eating hippi chick! Wisconsin has treated me pretty well; its a good state, but the place where I'm staying this summer is really under populated (its also where I grew up). I'd love to come back here some day, but I think I need to cut out for a time; although I'm not quiet sure where I'll be going to grad school either.

The Northern Lights can be beautiful around here. I remember driving home from work one time last year and it looked like the northern sky was being cut across by these shimmering green knives; it was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. I ran inside and drug my family out so they could see it

I have to say I prefer Wisconsin to Alaska; although I think that teaching up there has been a good experience by and large (see, I to am on the West Coast, further West then even you, I'd bet )
