I broke the damn celibacy rule over the weekend. I was doing so well and then gave into the animalistic urge to get some. So I did and it was good.

I did go almost a full 7 months without any physical contact with anyone of the opposite or same sex. Some of my friends told me they could never do it. I would say I only practiced self-pleasure like 3 times during the 7 months. It is amazing what you can go without when you make a concious effort.

I do believe that my stressful work situation led to me breaking my vow. I was so stressed out that I felt I really need a drink to take the edge off and then I had a weak moment and called a guy that I knew would be a sure thing (damn, I sound like a guy). In the end, I don't feel bad because the sex served a specific purpose, which was to forget about my fucked up work situation and get myself some pleasure.


That said, I am still looking for a new job and I will probably call this guy who was lucky enough to be my booty call again- unless of course the dating site produces a boyfriend for me.
