I just got a phone call from my friend. A friend whom I have had a falling out w/. A friend whom meant a lot to me. I was thinking about her this afternoon. I expected to hear from her soon, just not in this fashion.

Last night around midnight, her best friend, Issac, was struck by a drunk driver while he sat in his corvette on the shoulder of I-25 and 147th. He was killed instantly. His car had stalled due to the fuel pump going out. Issac had managed to pull his car clear off the road, to the point that it was actually in the grass. It is believed that the drunk driver was following taillights, and as there was no one infront of him until Issac, that is where he steered.

Issac's brother had just drove past him and was circling around and had past the other driver only moments earlier. By the time his brother had turned around, Issac had been struck and killed.

Issac was only 22 years of age. He owned a Game Force in Broomfield with his business partner and friend, Christain. Issac did not have a mean bone in his entire body. He was a sweet person, who would have done anything for anybody. He deserved to live out his life, not have it cut short by the arrogance of some drunk.

Issac will be missed by all that knew him.

Those that knew him as a friend, those that shopped in his store, those that went to school with him, and those that raced with &/or against him at Bandemeire, and lastly, but certainly not least, by his family that loved him.

So long, my friend. Peace be with you.

This is all that was left of Issac's corvette.

Don't Drink and Drive, my friends. Just Don't!

I am so sorry to hear about that. I heard about the accident on the news. My condolences go out to you and his family and friends.
