I am not entirely certain that you liked Survivor. It has left you with the same mixed feelings that all of Palahniuk's books, with the exception of Choke, have. You feel like there were alot of amazing things in it, but that it was missing something or it was just not put together as well as it should have been. You are slightly irritated that he is not the social commentator that Selby is or the satirist that Vonnegut is. You feel slightly embarrassed for liking his writing, its like listening to music that is marketed to mall goths. Its not supposed to be good, but for some reason something in it is appealing. Dont let your friends know you listen to something other than Superjoint Ritual. Hah hah.
