Wild mushrooms would be so fun to learn about! So tasty! And you could use them in your Thai cooking, yum!

So I'm thinking if you canoed to Alaska, and then snowboarded around once you got there, you could probably get # 1, 2, 3 and 4 all in one go. :-)

Speaking French is fun, because you can say just about anything, including a grocery list or the gettysberg address, and it turns people on.

Well, some people.

An excellent list. I would just change Thai food to Vietnamese food. And I hate mushrooms. But that's it.

I think I will celebrate evacuation day by evacuating my house and going out to dinner tonight. I feel like I'm a shut-in. If I have to spread my disease and pestilence among the general population, so be it.

If you were in CA I'd hook you up with my uncle who taught fungal kinds of things at some branch of CalTech for awhile, but no such luck there smile.

The rest of that sounds like fun - I'm especially interested in the Polar Bear thing, that just sounds like fun smile.
bleunuit:

I think one of my problems is I rarely get out of the neighborhood I live in other than to go to work. Which is only 5 minutes away.

Good list. I would love to do quite a few of those things. A few I have done. I need some new goals.
