The moment they handed my daughter to me in the OR was the most inspiring moment of my life. Neither my ex nor I ever wanted to have kids, But when this one came along we learned a little bit about being human beings. Maybe we learned a lot. I hope so. Also learned not to trust contraceptive sponges, but that's really beside the point.
I dunno, I bet you could sell it - if nothing else you could selfpublish or sell an ebook .
Might be worth talking to the SG powers that be, they may have connections with publishing houses us normal folk don't have. I knew afew people at some of the computer book companies but I know they're of no help, having asked already (not about yours, a buddy of mine has a blog that's close to yours in writing quality and life information, altho his is about photography, ostensibly)
You're welcome - he's a nice guy and wiser than I'd given him credit for, altho I don't think he does it conciously, which, I guess, is pretty cool .
If I had any part in you and suzy_kabloozy meeting I'm glad to have been there, altho given the two of you I'm sure you'd have met anyway. I gotta tell you I'd love to be there when you two meet F2F - I bet the room just sparkles . Or there'll be thunder and lightning - I'm voting for option 1 there, btw .
Of course that's just cuz I like both of you and you two seem like you'd be complementary, but the only real way is to wait and see what happens.
RE:being a hippy - I'll see if I can find some pics of me in HS with sorta long hair and wearing my hand-embroidered Dashiki-shirt-kinda-thing - hopefully my parents have thrown them all out tho .
That's a beautiful memory.. I'd hope to remember something like that for as long as possible, too. It's saddening to think that someday, all my memories are going to fade, as much as I dislike them right now. I wouldn't ever want to forget any of them.
