So the mandala was created and destroyed.
i have pictures only from the third and fourth days. i didnt make it to the destruction ceremony because of work, but there is a time lapse video here.

Avalokiteshvara - the mandala was his 'palace'.


you can see where it was smudged earlier in the day ...


over half an hour of chanting before work on the mandala can begin. the chant master is up front, pouring water, throwing rice, and leading the chant to prepare ... its really intense.
