"I'll Never"

When I pause for a moment,
To think about my life,
I see you smiling at me,
And for that single moment,
Everything in my being,
Just seems to be in place.

Then that moment passes,
And everthing that's happened,
Comes back into the light.

In my mind I see our past,
Though it's short and not long past,
I think about how much you've helped me,
And how I've helped you,
And wonder,
What happened to those feelings,
That we both once shared.

And now the present stares at me,
Like I'm undeserving to walk among,
Those who mean the most to me.

Then another moment passes by,
And I see all that I had planned,
And I know that i"ll never,
Get to share with you those dreams.

And I'll never get to tell you,
Just how I truly feel,
Which by now if you don't know,
Is that I love you dear,
Now and forever more.
