Yeah, it is. They didn't have it for a while because they don't have a big enough bakery or something, but then it showed up one day and I was so excited!

It doesn't snow here much, and when it does it's usually brief and doesn't stick. Then every few years we'll have a massive ice storm.

But most likely it wouldn't be like in Vancouver. It's usually just really pretty falling for an hour or too and you run outside and dance around, and then it stops.

The sad thing about portland is, I haven't seen as much of it as I would like to. I go up all the time, but the weather is either shitty, or something happens so we cant go out (like me getting tattooed for 7 hours, and then feeling like a giant blister afterwards). Ill be back in March for my spring break, accompanied by my bicycle, so hopefully Ill be able to wander around. Ill let you know when Ill be in town.

Its hard being with jon though, when he is not far, but too far. Definitely not as far as Miami, though! I love the bay area, and I always told myself Id never want to leave, but now, Im itching to explore new places. Unfortunately, Im not in a position where I can move wherever I feel like, or travel frequently. Damn med school dreams, damn you! But, I plan on doing this thing called doctors without borders (or a like-minded program) when Im out of med school and finished with all my residencies and in-house. THAT should definitely be interesting.

im pissed that its snowing. ijm happy for you because im sure its exciting for you, but im really frustrated because i thought theyd transfer DJ today and now they wont, and plus i was gonna go to the justice center and send him a memo saying hello in an attempt to cheer him up, and now i cant. i wish it would snow on a different day because i want to enjoy it but im not gonna today. im stuck at home and have nothing to do! and barely any food! i cleaned my room already, and did most of my homework (but of course theres always more...)
