cherry:
I'm so happy I got to meet you for breakfast, yesterday! Sorry we didn't get together again over the weekend. Kind of sucks having to do family things and having to work while I'm here. Hope you have a safe drive back. xxxxx.
mat8drb:
Well, if you've been following the Ashes, we're really not meant to lose that easily. Grrr.
linds:
You found me!

Yes, the Templeton.. good stuff!!! and it was really nice to meet you smile

jocelynn:
It was nice to meet you too! I'm glad you had a good time and didn't get charged up the wazoo for the buffet. smile

PS be glad you went home this weekend, it's only gotten colder!
paulnikon:
Pimpin' indeed.
jocelynn:
Really? It's felt like it was going to snow all day. frown Sucks.

*GULP* I did not know about that! The macbook should have arrived today but I guess fedex is backed up. Is there any way to find out how much the discount is without signing up (i see it's 99USD to sign up)? I could just upgrade in a year or two (i will still be a student) and sell the core2.
((Also, I am getting even more back on the macbook because a certain somebody is claiming it on their taxes and we're splitting the rebate))
mat8drb:
Yes, we pretend not to notice our devasting losses in the past. The optimism that we'd keep them was there for the first time in ages. Oh well. We're poor at rugby, have lost the Ashes, so our 2 years of being on top in sports that people have heard of is about to end.

For ultimate geekiness, I wrote the BBC when I was 13 to ask them of there would ever be a third radio series. They replied yes, there would be one soon. They sure as hell took their time on it....
redmess:
did the drive home go alright?
but, uhm, where's my house key?
polly:
i know! i'm sure i still have it uploaded somewhere in this maze of picture folders.

xo
kestrel:
Peace and goodwi... bahahahahahahahah.

We did have the horse thing, and it was totally awesome. I stared at his spine for, like, ten minutes (I spent at least that long on everything with a clear view of the spine). There weren't as many women as men, but we did have enough to fully check out. The pregnant lady was amazing.
sloane:
Thanks! That photobooth thing = endless amusement. smile
eliska:
yay see you there!
spunsugar:
I met you briefly last weekend? I believe. I was poo pooing Brandys and telling you to look out for ben affleck. tongue
spunsugar:
yeah it is pretty normal. that's why I tend to go to the more ghetto places. they let the girls express themselves a bit more and I always have a better time.

I can't believe your glasses flew off! that is so funny. for me, not for you obviously. tongue
arete:
k, dude, last time i was on sg i was going to comment about those jimmy dean things, but i don't think i did yet, and even if i did, it deserves a second comment....

it_thing_hard_on:
You're 26. I started my Roth at 22. tongue

If you're seriously considering the Gens let me know, I'll pick you up a ticket.
mat8drb:
It is only around 130 miles I was driving - due to the roads being not so grand for the first 60 of that, it in total should take around 2.5 hours - simple. But we've had very bad fog across most of the south of the country - Heathrow's only been doing international flights from Tuesday to Friday - and hence it added a large part to the journey home.

But then we don't have inclines like that in Portland. The worst we have locally is a 1:6, around 10 degrees, and that's only because it is on a shortcut.

I'm correct in guessing that you're with me in the "want to at least drive a Bugatti Veryron" one day? Probably wouldn't handle the inclines, but, hey, who cares? biggrin Also: First TV interview from Richard Hammond.

Have a grand Christmas. smile
bracket:
as in "i was just prizzing my nipples outside in the cold today" *giggle*
freakpirate:
Damn... that is a good one. biggrin

ARRR!!!
mat8drb:
Yeah, even those of us who love football couldn't understand why they just didn't keep going during the World Cup or started the series earlier. Top Gear > Highlights of Switzerland vs. Ukraine, aka the dullest quarter final in history. They even made the penalty shootout look dull.

The British public got by. Well timed Christmas releases such as this and this but certainly not this may have helped. Ah, the Christmas market. Gotta love it.
mat8drb:
I saw the advert for Captain Slow's DVD game and I thought it was a spoof to start with. I'd quite happily buy his book though. smile
