am depressed because we're starting to give my baby lovebirds away ... i know they need good homes but I'm afraid my mom will give them away to some weirdo who will make them into lovebird pie. 
you can never tell with these newspaper ads ... and it's hard to say goodbye to the little fluffballs. God, I'm such a girl sometimes.
but, I bought my tix to go to Portland today. Will be arriving Sunday morning and leaving Sunday night. Any Portlanders want to hang out with me on my brief but solitary visit ?
also got unexpected windfall in my checking account since my apartemnt complex hasn't cashed my checks. I'm a whole decimal place higher than i thought I was. Rock! At least til they deposit them anyway.
the hamster at preschool dissapeared ... we tried to find it but failed. Teacher Monica told me that this is the 3rd hamster thats run away ... and she's only been there a year. have decided to make saving miserable hamsters my life's quest. One down, about a trillion billion to go. Will have to ask Team Awesome to help me.
now to go eat candy and figure out if I am sad or happy. *sigh*
