Great weekend. Saturday I worked at the bar, which was a barrel of monkeys, as always. The bar that I work at is located in a hotel, and the particular hotel was where the Nebraska Delegates are staying for the DNC. Well, I saw a girl I went to high school with. And have you ever had the awkward moment where you just really wish you were fucked up ... a lot? She is that moment ... popular girl who made my life a little bit of hell suddenly offers me her room number in hopes of getting laid. I may not have had sex in nearing a year and a half now, but no sex is worth that. Man I wish I hadn't been sober for that. Although I don't know what would have been worse, waking up next to that, or conciously making a decision to leave that alone. In any case, it's over now. Hopefully she doesn't try contacting me during the rest of the week.

Sunday was pretty sweet. Just got smoked up, played nintendo, ate, ate some more, and then ate a little bit more. Watched the Sopranos 3rd season and the game. The Sox have lately stopped their "We are going to suck" streak. I enjoyed that a lot.

Getting up this morning was rough. Stupid pot is super strong, so it knocks me on my ass for the next day too. Gotta love the Blueberry Nova ... ahhh. Hope everyone had as swell a weekend as I did.
