glad you've rejoined sguk! maybe i'll see you at a meet one say? smile

thanks for telling me about your friends work, i'll look into doing something like that. i just have to see whether or not the uni will be ok with it.
redheaddevil:
Cool! I'm an artist too, I run an art gallery and museum in mid-state ILL. I also make Victorian corsets wink
redheaddevil:
It is a cool gallery. We focus on Illinois artists, and have one nationally travelling show booked a year. It's a big 1,300 square foot room with 14' high cielings.

I didn't make that dress myself, but there's some examples of dresses and corsets I made on my profile pics under artwork.

Nice tattoo designs I saw on your profile!

I love my new tattoo! Someone local drew it up for me, it is based on scrollwork designs from turn of the century antique Singer sewing machines. I collect antique Singers, and have about 13 machines from 1920-1950. I also collect vintage dress patterns and have over 400 from the 1930's through the 1960's. I've got vintage clothing, too! And antique books about sewing, tailoring, and fashion from 1900-1950. And etiquette books from the same time period. And vintage undergarments from the 1940's-1950's.

That's my vice, anything having to do with sewing or fashion from 1900-1950. Are you into that kind of fashion stuff?
creamygoodness:
Hehe, funny you should mention that, as soon as I finished making it I thought to myself "Hmmm, I'm gonna have to make a profile pic version of that as soon as I have time." It was time for a bit of a change anyway, much as I loved the wint one, it was time for something new biggrin
creamygoodness:
If you do, you'd better be flipping gang signs at the camera tongue

Hey there let me know a little more about this site I may be able to help you. Drop me a mail

lysistrata:
Ok Ok you caught me. Spike... I've got a confession. I don't have a fiance. It's you I love. Since you are leaving the UK there is no reason for me to be here anymore. I'm moving back to North America... hopefully one day I can drive to Illinois and I can dress in my best Bjoran outfit and you can take me to quarks... sigh.. wait.. I want to dress as a Klingon and weild my cool knife.. oh so many decisions...

Home is all over the place. Don't have one anymore. But I am Canadian so home would be somewhere over there. We are thinking Vancouver or Toronto. Depends on work. We may even end up in NY - which would be way cool.. but that all depends on visas and stuff.
lysistrata:
Climate wise.. YES.. Vancouver is rainy for 7 monhts and Toronto is cold and snowy for 7 months.

Then summer in Van is nice but summer in To is seriously MUGGY...

who knows all is up in the air. I'm seriously blonde now too... we can't be a couple until I dye my hair chocolate agian!
lysistrata:
and until I learn to spell again properly...

yeah I dunno where we will go. Will keep everyone posted though... these days I'm just working too much and complaining about it.

later must sleep it's 1:30 and I just finished coding.. must work tommorrow.
nixxx:
Hmmmm that may have been a wise decision leaving SGUK.....

I'm going to Kenya for just over a month, and I'm soooo excited about it!! biggrin

-x-
arik:
hmm, are you just leaving sguk or the whole site? i haven't met you all that many times but it would be a shame to see you go.

redheaddevil:
Thanks for the hug, sugar kiss
arik:
why are you moving there? job, girl, boy, what? just seems like an odd choice tongue
dravenraine:
Man you fuckin ROCK!!!! Thank you so much! Thats perfect. You are so sweet to find it for me. ANd yes thats close enough. So thank you thank you thank you! YOu ROCK baby! kiss kiss kiss
dravenraine:
Where did you find that at? Cause I really like it, and was wondering if you could find the "characters" for Love, Hope, and Eternity, I want those on my foot, and the other one will probably be on my arm. IM anytime or you can just leave it in my journal. Thanks kiss
desilou:
it has been some years since i lived in macomb, but it is your standard midwest college town. it is not all that bad but it definatly lacks continous excitement. it is not a completely bad place to live tho. if you have anymore questions i will try to answer them for you.
james_:
Posting your thing tomorrow. Should be with you by thursday. smile
ghoulish:
No way man ... I've never met anyone else with a glyph tattoo'd on the base of their neck. I have the Dragonetti tribe glyph. Awesome.
ghoulish:
I haven't had it for even a year yet. I don't have a picture of it but it looks really faded because it's in a grey color, not black. Everyone that has no idea what the hell a glyph is thinks that it looks like shit and is like, "Wow, did someone you know do that with a pen and a needle or something?" I don't know, I don't really like to show it off too much because apparently people think it looks like shit, I like it though. I'll try to get a picture for you.
boxing_helena:
thanks, good group idea! smile
nixxx:
Ahhhh I'm just annoyed at certain people (not anyone on this site, don't worry!). I needed to vent, but all I could think of writing was motherfuckers!!! LOL sorry!!

=x=
dravenraine:
Hell yeah those are perfect!!! ANd perfect size! YOU ROCK BABY!!! kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss
arsenic:
Well, I kinda want it gothic-like, corset and whatnot.. with a long waist. I want to incorporate red and black into it, but not too much. very layered, like a ball gown. Like I said, I'm very open to all kinds of options.. Use your imagination, have fun with it. Oh and if it helps, we're having a graveyard ceremony.

Thank you so much for helping me, I have a year and a half.. and I want it to be special.
arsenic:
Yay! love Thank you!!! kiss I can't wait..
redheaddevil:
Baby I wish something exciting would happen to you so you could update your journal. wink
