Hello!
Thanks for your comment.
I'm unemployed too, isn't it fab? Apart from the impending sense of doom, obviously. I can live with that.
Thanks for being my friend sweet *mwah*

Thankyou for writing such a lengthy comment. I'm sure it qualified as whelming. And don't worry! You can still read my last blog if you just click the back arrow above today's date! Ha!
I only returned to writing at the start of this year, after about 5 lost years of not being able to write a word. It's going pretty well, I'm progressing much more rapidly than I expected to, in that I'm writing things now that would have been impossible only months ago. I haven't submitted much yet though - I'm not very good at having the confidence to say when something's finished and ready to be read.
What's your screenplay *about*, if it's not too daunting a question?
Heh, I'm just teasing. It's actually really hard to offend me (no, that's not a challenge)... As my friend said, "You can't offend friends" - actually true.
The procession was just one of those things they do every year, kind of a welcome to Freshers and also a chance to see the cathedral in candlelight which is cool. And also a good way to give everyone fresher's flu...
Oh, that video was nothing, NOTHING compared to seeing el Kid do "The Angry Dance," for example. There were some better dance routines on you-tube, but I chose that particular video because it gave the best general overview, you get to hear what East Yorkshire accents sound like, and - oh! - there's a puppy.
Your synopsis threw up a couple of immediate questions. Why is she patchwork? How is she patchwork when the rest of her family aren't? Is she like, solid, or does she flop around like a rag doll? But don't worry, I'm just being facetious.
If you don't mind, I'll tell you what the novels-in-progress are about tomorrow. Just at the moment I'm afraid I have to go to bed; I'm prioritising sleep this week.
Yes I did mean Durham Uni freshers, and yes I'm at uni there (I'm an oooold 4th year now though...). You'll have to ask her what college - I'm in Hatfield, but tell her not to hate me (huge inter-college rivalry, and everyone seems to hate us... meh). If she did go, she may have seen me - I'm the one with the blue-purple hair
A great first journal entry. It made me laugh, which is good because I'm in bed sick today.
Take care.
