Howard was 87, that is a long and full life and he left a lot of good stuff behind. Enjoy your shenanigans. I'm not such a big fan of the in house pull up bars - they get loose and that can cause injury. What about taking the bus to the beach in Santa Monica and using the fitness equipment there?

Santa Monica's version of Muscle Beach is next to the Pier. It's free, jungle gym type stuff for adults.

The Total Gym works pretty well. I'm 6'4 and 220. My door frame holds up just fine..
