When I was a teenager I used to wonder what I'd be doing at the turn of the millenium on New Year's Eve 2000 (yeah, I know, the millenium actually turned in 2001, but never mind). When I realized I'd be 27 that year I shuddered and thought, "That's so old!" Ah, how our perspectives change.
