I'm ABSOLUTELY going as the Tenth Doctor, but I'm not exactly crossplaying - I'll still be female.
As for my other ideas: Dark Phoenix, Ramona Flowers, Shaun - from Shaun of the Dead, Chihiro, or Winry Rockbell. I honestly have so many ideas on what I want to cosplay as, but so little time.
I'm in over my head.

I miss my platinum so much, but the upkeep nearly fried my hair permanently. I'm considering giving it another shot, since I have more experience at this point but we will see. :/
Hm...you can never go wrong with the doctor, though if you're going to still be female wouldn't it make more sense to go as one of his companions? As for the others listed, can't go wrong with the girl everyone's in lesbians with. I'll be going as Seifer, the younger version from KH2, though my friends are talking about group costumes so I might get drawn into joining them.
Just a quick tip, you'll probably get a better response rate if you reply on the blog of the member you're talking to. The stats don't show us when someone replied to their own blog, just ours. That's why some members aren't replying back, they probably haven't noticed. It's not a rule or anything, just easier to be noticed that way.
