Atlanta is so much more fun than Houston!
Yesterday my brother Daniel and I got in around 8:00 am ET, and I swear at least half of our 800-mile trip was spent in Alabama. Yuck! We stopped in Bumblefuck, Mississippi (quite lovely), but we didn't get to have our smoked turkey at the Bates House of Turkey in Greenville, Alabama.
That is the only thing that makes the drive through AL bearable! So, we got in, went to sleep, and then I got ready for the SG Burlesque show at the Echo Lounge.
Apologies, spaghetti, and myself headed down to the Flatiron to meet up with the Atlanta SGers. So many nice people showed up! Of course, optimistress and daniel13 were there, with a lovely friend, and boychucker, williamj (who has the cutest Southern accent imaginable), AJGirl, cease, 3030vision, Donzell, and a few other people whose screen names I have forgotten graced us with their presence.
The ever-lovely Llona was there, too, rocking a leopard-print suit.
It's no surprise to me that she was able to solicit many big fat tips from the crowd at the Echo.
She's a doll!
The opening bands were god-awful, just as they were in Austin. The show was amazing, though. This time I actually got to see some of it. Always helpful! The best part was at the end, when Tegan covered everyone in the front with chocolate syrup and whipped cream and all the goth kids got pissed off and left. Goth kids look so silly when they're covered in food and angry. My favorites this time were Violet (she ROCKS!) and Brandy, although everyone put on a great show. Of course, the best part of the night was hanging out with all the sweet Atlanta people.
Today is Samantha's surgery day, so I'm off to go have her x-rayed and such. She just had her sutures out from the last surgery this week, and now she's going to be all Frankenstein-ish again. Poor thing.
Vanilla Silk is good stuff!

Stopped by the other day, a little drunk, left a note under your wiper, hope I didn't make a mess.
Cheers.
PS Thanks for the wake up call. Good morning to you too.
Edited because of hangover/fur on eyes
