Anyways, the way that I got started in Freelance Tattoo Design was just that I've always loved to draw. You know how it is when you're in 5th grade and all of your friends are like "Draw me a picture!!!".
So I did that, and by the time I was in highschool, I was tired of busting my ass on something custom for free. So I started thinking about charging.
Then I had a girl tell me that she wanted a tribal designed for a tattoo that she wanted. I told her to pay me $60.00 for it, and she flipped. I told her to drop by the parlour and talk to THEM about a custom tattoo design then. She came back...it was cheaper. I've been doing it ever since. So yeah, just start charging your friends. It's not a...fast business, so I wouldn't depend on it for your income.
okay a - i want the rest of the details on the spanking story and b - it's rude to turn down a drink. unless the guy's creepy, then you can. but i will freely admit, as my supersuckers show story can attest, that drinks you don't pay for get you far drunker than ones you buy yourself for some reason.

It was your birthday, met up w/ friends at a bar, they bought you drinks...it's to be expected that you need help walking out. They think they were doing the right thing and it would be very hard to refuse. I understand. I hope you are feeling better.
