I agree with you on the funk-jazz thing. The Greyboy Allstars spend a lot of time down here, but I've never seen them cause there was a flud of that stuff goin' around a few years back, but yeah, it doesn,t hold my attention for very long either.
Tom Waits is someone I've always heard about, but never listened to, so I picked up Rain Dogs yesterday, and listened to it about 5 times. I'll check out the others you mentioned too.
Never really been into Giger, but I know some of his stuff is pretty kickass. I'll have to look into Rojo. I don't know his stuff at all.

yeah getting exposure is the key to selling any work. 95% of the people may not care for someone's work, but if enough people see it, then someone in that 5% will want to buy. I get offers sometimes through this site. I'd bet in time you will too... but I guess that doesn't help now. Your work is tight though. I imagine just getting the right people too see it is all it would take. I paint friggin houses for a living. There's no way I could live off art, but having to work all the time also kills creativity. Awww, I don't know. Let me know if you find the answer.
