^^ i agree. that crazy anasthetic they give you makes you totally irrational after the surgery. you absolutely cant drive yourself to and from.
they may give you codiene, thats what i got. in which case having a buddy for a day or two is pretty beneficial.

Go to the dentist. My teeth were poorly maintained until 2000. They were horrible (I'm missing 3 molars and have another one crowned). Now I get a cleaning and checkup twice a year, and the last time I was there - for the first time - the dentist said "everything looks good". Little bit o' pain now will save you lots down the road.
