From last night, first tablet drawing I'd done in a few years - daughters loved it :D

Despite the newfound pains and physical issues that literally began as the year did - or perhaps they're a result of - I'm both out of shape and getting older...
As this winter feels as though it's finally hitting some closure, I may be able to try something about the out of shape - though not of the getting older ;)
'Course, I'm getting odd...

Starting this post with random bits of news :
I now have a passport... now if only I could afford to travel, neh?
my zune120 music player died last weekend, so had an entire music-free workweek *sighs* - then strangely came back to life yesterday AM... so, yeh, I need to look for a new player in case it happens again

@caraphernelia not sure of the passport laws/rules outside the US, but I know mine is good for 10yrs... should be enough time to save up to use it eventually :)
caraphernelia:
Yes :3 I think in canads you can choose 5 or 10 years :o
**WARNING** this post started small, but became... intense... in portions, and of a very personal nature at points - You've Been Warned.

Strangely enough, there really aren't a lot of things I 'always wanted to be' or 'always wanted to do' ...
of the things I 'wanted to be,' most were obviously impossible - others I tried and failed or became physically inadept at

Sometimes moving somewhere new is the best thing :)
wolfox:
@nebula today marks 16yrs I've been where I moved - and I never lived further than a mile outside the border of this state ( MN )... so movin' in a couple years sounds really nice, actually - family is the key, I intend on stayin' close to the girls and am more than willing to change states and employment in order to do so... thankfully I have an ex that's more than willing to keep me in the loop so that we can do the hunting and considering as a family entire
completed a bit of passportal applicationism this mornin' - which went delightfully fast, including the trip to-and-from the Deputy Registrar I went to, took only an hour !
so... in just 6+ weeks or so, I should have a passport on my hands - how crazy is that?!?
didn't even realize the nigh-timing of it, either - since this coming Mon the 27th is when I first moved...

texting with the ex-wife tonight - and can't stop laughing...
she doesn't want me to help pay for the back tat ( nor chest tat ) that she's planning ( unless I win a lottery ) - but I keep having to reminder her that she's the ONLY ex of mine that I didn't buy either a tat or a piercing ( or both )...
let alone the...

Definitely needs a tat. ;)
wolfox:
@arroia she has some smaller ones, including the wedding ring ( divorce ring now? ) - but she's wanted a specific designed back tat for nearly a decade and now has a specific chest piece, too ... so guess I just need to win a lottery, since she won't let me help pay for it otherwise - I mentioned she should come up with what she'd like for sleevework as well
Weather's warmed up a little... only today so far, but supposed t'be a decent weekend ( over 45 )
'course, it won't last - it's still wintertide after all, demn it :(
but, hey, gotta take what we can get... even if we really don't get out to enjoy the 7 hells out of it *sighs*

next Fri I took off so I can...
