I sat here the other evening looking over the photo sets featured here on SG when a knock came at my door, got up answered it and it was a younger female friend stopping by to say hi, well since I use my 55" television as a computer monitor and had neglected to minimize SG tab it was there in full view. Now mind you I am not ashamed of the fact I love this site but we all know people who would make an issue of the fact. Well anyway to make a long story short, her reaction was less than positive, I asked why she felt this way, her answer was that she thought more of herself than to post these types of photos so that any degenerate could view them. needless to say I got protective of the ladies that do post here and started in with my rationalization as to why I thought she was way off base. in essences what I said was this: " The human body in and of its self is a work of art, the images displayed here should be considered just that, These ladies are all beautiful, each is unique and special. There is nothing wrong with sharing ones beauty, confidence, and comfort with themselves." I went on to say that maybe my friend just felt herself to be not worthy of sharing her beauty, oh oh big mistake, out came the tears, yeah I know dumb guy thing to say, but she admitted that I was partly right, seems she has several issues with her body. I told her that she was beautiful, and maybe she should think about joining the SG site and just browse the photo sets and notice the diversity here and see that every body type, every ethnicity, every hair color ( natural, and surreal) were to found here and that each was beautiful, sexy, enchanting and just down right fun. She asked if maybe we could browse together, I said sure. So we did. I think she walked away with a better attitude, about SG, my viewing SG, but most importantly a much better attitude about herself. thanks to all the SG ladies for having the courage and the strength to put yourself out there for our viewing pleasure. I did not realize until that night that it is truly a brave thing you do.

You are so awesome! I feel like every girl (ok maybe not Honey Boo Boo's mother...) should have that chance to do a shoot, not specifically nude, to show her how gorgeous she really is! Maybe then girls would actually appreciate each other instead of tearing each other down all the time.
