It was another dinner and movie for one after work today. I went over and had a pizza for dinner (objects in this picture are smaller than they appear)

After dinner was the Han Solo movie. It was just so-so to me. Lando was cool. It was a fun moment to see how Han met Chewbacca. Beyond that, I didn't feel anything for any

so sorry you did not loved this, I enjoy the Han Solo movie but I had not expected nothing about it! that's why probably I was not dissapointed.

So last night was a bit of baseball with some of my friends. It was the Houston Astros playing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Astros won, so one of my friends was bummed, but it was a decent game for a neutral party.

It will be back to the movies tomorrow night for Deadpool. Maybe I will just lay low this weekend.

This Saturday was the KROQ Weenie Roast over in Carson. It was a better show than I expected. The main band I wanted to see was Nothing But Thieves because I had not see them before. They played early on the side stage.

Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park played his first solo show since Chester died. He held it together really well.

I hadn't

The birthday week adventures went on after the last post. The rain went away, so I took the show back on the road. There were Champion's League soccer matches to watch around lunch. One surprise was my brother bought me a throwback jersey of my boyhood idol, Dwight Gooden. I had never owned a jersey before, so it was a neat touch on his...

So I have been off since last Thursday for my birthday. I take the week off every year. On my way out the door, my staff thought it would be fun to send me off by giving me cans of diet Coke and Mentos. Throughout the day different people would come into my office and hand me a can of soda or a roll of...

Saturday was the day for a trip to the Petersen Automotive Museum for a lowrider exhibition. I think the lowrider thing is bigger in L.A. than it is most places. The exhibition was cancelled, but I still had a fun day at the museum. They change things around often, so it gives me plenty of reason to go back.

Let's see where next

Yesterday's adventure was a trip to the California Science Center to check out the new King Tut exhibit. I am not an uber Egypt fan, but my father was before he passed away. I wanted to take the chance try to see what about it fascinated him. The exhibit was cool. It had a lot of artifacts that had never been out of Egypt...

So the quiet nights are slowly starting to go away. Tonight I went over to Pomona after work to see the band Haim with one of my buddies. He has a crush on the girls in the band. I had seen them before, but he was pumped to be there.

This weekend will feature mummies and lowriders. More adventures to follow!

So this week really is the beginning of year for me because the baseball season started yesterday. It is an annual vacation for me. The weather is good so I can hang around the house and enjoy the view.

I bought the new Far Cry and MLB The Show games to keep my occupied before the baseball starts for the day. Far Cry should be

The last full week of winter was quiet for the most part on my end. It was all work stuff. I saw two movies. The Tomb Raider one was not that good. I enjoyed 7 Days in Entebbe more, but I can see why film critics didn't love it.

Last night I went to high school basketball, since it was the state semifinals. My...
