Well put

Some one posted this video recap of the last art battle I was in. I started to watch it but couldn't get through the whole thing cause I got like butterfly in my stomach like I was back there again. I didn't pick up on that it was being filmed this way so for me this was a treat.

Want a slice? Its Grecco with pineapple, mushrooms and hot peppers.. and tonight its worth the guilt

I gotta add this to my collection!

The theme of this year for my tattoo training is to try and focus my portfolio in to the anime style I naturally draw in, work on pre-planning my coloring more and of course increase sales.. ABC.. always be closing.

Interesting topic. My best friend and I were talking recently about this. She was saying how offensive it is to wear a native headdress, yet has no problem throwing on a toga and wig and being Cleopatra. I dunno, I guess a lot of traditional Halloween costumes would nowadays be deemed racist. Indians and Cowboys, Geishas, egyptian queen, Mexican dude (think sombrero/moustache), etc. But when do we take it too far? I mean, it's all just fun and games. Is it really that bad?

@tulipe :) Thanks for the though full comment. The way I would decide for my self if its too far is if I would be uncomfortable wearing the costume in front of people who are from minority I'm considering dressing up as. It all fun and games but if someone is getting hurt then its not worth it ya know? Here's a quote from the article that explains how it could be harmful a bit."...an act of appropriation in which someone who does not experience that oppression is able to "play," temporarily, an "exotic" other, without experience any of the daily discrimination's faced by other cultures. "
