So I finally got my finger out my arse and bought the new Stereophonics album this morning.

love love

This one feels strangely appropriate for today.

You dont know what it's been like
Meeting someone like you
You dont know what its been like
Meeting someone like you.

You look like Jesus on an aeroplane
Ya head's against the window pane
You got opinions but you aint...

A book is not only a friend, it makes friends for you. When you have possessed a book with mind and spirit, you are enriched. But when you pass it on you are enriched threefold.

Another poem from my favourite incurable romantic kiss

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.

Write for example, 'The night is shattered
and the blue stars shiver in the distance.'

The night wind revolves in the sky and sings.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.

Through nights like this one I held her in my arms....

Lovely.

Your poem of the other day with the opening line including gardens made me think of this van morrision track. Its my favorite of his ever and so beautiful.. If you don`t have it make sure you get it.

And I will stroll the merry way
And jump the hedges first
And I will drink the clear
Clean water for to quench my thirst
And I shall watch the ferry-boats
And theyll get high
On a bluer ocean
Against tomorrows sky
And I will never grow so old again
And I will walk and talk
In gardens all wet with rain

Oh sweet thing, sweet thing
My, my, my, my, my sweet thing
And I shall drive my chariot
Down your streets and cry
hey, its me, Im dynamite
And I dont know why
And you shall take me strongly
In your arms again
And I will not remember
That I even felt the pain.
We shall walk and talk
In gardens all misty and wet with rain
And I will never, never, never
Grow so old again.

Oh sweet thing, sweet thing
My, my, my, my, my sweet thing
And I will raise my hand up
Into the night time sky
And count the stars
Thats shining in your eye
Just to dig it all an not to wonder
Thats just fine
And Ill be satisfied
Not to read in between the lines
And I will walk and talk
In gardens all wet with rain
And I will never, ever, ever, ever
Grow so old again.
Oh sweet thing, sweet thing
Sugar-baby with your champagne eyes
And your saint-like smile....

Beautiful isn`t it?

the stars move behind my eyes
and still I remain

Four hours sleep. *twitch*

I awoke at 5am this morning after dreaming that I was sleeping in a four poster bed. Needless to say the reality was something of a disappointment.

Having failed miserably to go back to sleep, I got up, made myself a drink, grabbed a cigarette and watched the sun come up through the open window.

Which was nice. Until it a)...

Dont you hate those nights when you go out with every intention of at least getting mildly tipsy and end up back home stone cold sober? mad

But at least I did get to meet Bateman (charming even when pissed) and Rainwolfkin (gorgeous). Anaphalaxis cried off. Something to do with being in bed. Although he didnt say with whom. shocked

Please go and sympathise withBateman....

That sounds like some great conversation. It reminds me of my typical coffeehouse conversations. Well, except the torn foreskins--I have never heard of this before and it sounds owie owie owie. shocked

My friend Jasmine gave me one of those charity wristbands that have become so popular recently. It's a white one for the "Make Poverty History" campaign.

I did a bit of research on the internet and found out that some schools in this country have banned children from wearing charity wristbands because they're consider them a health and safety risk. See this article

Now I...

Whay-hay! Fight outside my house. Three riot vans and a squad car full of coppers attempting to keep the peace between warring chavs.

You cant pay for entertainment of this quality. I'm going to have to stay up past pub closing time a bit more often. biggrin

Indeed, rated Pg and containing scenes of mild peril.

Personally I've found buy-to-let to be the key to prime entertainment.

The neighbour on one side was arrested and taken off to help with the enquiries; his predecessor there was a cop who got his bottle-blonde liveinlover pregnant and then desserted her and went back to his other girlfriend up North whilst leaving the wife and the kids here to get on with it.

Meanwhile the neighbours on the other side suddenly got busy at am one morning when all these cops turned up in latex gloves creeping around like a bunch of six year olds. Apparently they were looking for drugs. It would have been a good idea if they'd brought some boltcutters with them to get in the garage. It took them an hour and a half to get one of their mates to find a pair.

Next week on The Bill ........ biggrin

Well, after a fortnight in which I have:

* caught out a friend in a whopping lie after I offered to help them with what turned out...
