You know, at the risk of sounding idiotically simplistic, I just make sure I get my vitamins. Orange a day kinda thing. I don't get sick often. I'm talking years in between anything more serious than the sniffles. That and working out. Seems to work for me. Either that, or I'm incredibly lucky and got a batshit crazy immune system. lol
Washing your hands, warm to hot water, will go a long way to prevent people from sharing with you. I like Cranberry juice as a preventive. Keeping bacteria form growing in the throat, where most colds begin. I also saw an article that showed it helps your body prepare to fight viral infection. Good luck 😘
To repeat: sleep, hydrate, minimal junk food. I'm in the vitamin C crowd [ several tablets spread out across the day]; over the years it has keep colds shorter and not turning into walking pneumonia. While frequent hand washing is good, keeping yer mitts out of your mouth and nose, is the main thing. As to Honey: try to get it from within 50 miles of where you live, it will have more of the things for your area in it. **Fighting my own cold this past week and have returned from the "Kill me, so can feel better" phase. Speedy recovery.
I'm overly obsessed with not getting sick. My daily remedies include: 1. Vitamins 2. Plenty of water 3. Exercise 4. Apple cider vinegar 5. Fruits, veggies 6. SLEEP! I tend to stay up late but when I start to feel a bit rundown I call it a night. I think sleep is a huge factor in a healthy immune system.
