@OLDERNOW I didn't see your response, but wanted to mention that I *love* the music of Buffy St. Marie, and your words reminded me of her lyrics. I'm sure you're familiar with her, but if not i'd check her out!

@askalex Actually, I'm old enough to have heard Buffy live on more than one occasion (because I ran a coffee house in the late 1960s) She had both a message and musical talent! There's a few things she did with Mimi Baez (Joan Baez's sister) as I recall... and with Pete Seeger on his public tv show.
