Holy shit! Two blogs within a week! I cannot express how happy I am that Obama won. I am sure everyone on here is posting about how happy they are abut this great victory. A lot of the time I stay away from politics because it just makes me feel pissed off and powerless. But since the evening of November 4th my feelings have changed. I feel a sense of relief and even a little sense of pride to live in the United States, which I don't think I would have ever felt comfortable saying especially out loud.
On the other hand the fact that Prop 8 passed is embarrassing. On Nov 5 I felt proud to be in the US, but embarrassed to be a Californian... which again is a strange concept because I have always been proud of being a Californian and embarrassed of my country. Who knows what will happen. I don't think I will ever feel comfortable with how our politics turn out. Which sucks, but then again is something that I am grateful for because without I would lose interest in what is going on around me.
In any case I am rambling and I have homework and Fallout 3 to play! Again greatest game ever! Besides Tetris and Super Mario Brothers 3.
