Wow it’s been awhile since I was on here. I ran into someone today who recognized my shirt and it sort of reminded me to check in.

Life on this end is pretty okay. I’m working as a social worker for a nonprofit here in Florida, I absolutely love it. I’m also working on my Masters degree at UCF which is still mindblowing to me,

I’ve been so consumed with school ... but I’m wrapping things up before grad school. Life is busy and complicated. But i miss SG and shooting. Hopefully soon ...

Hope you all are well! Please send updates. I’m so out of touch. Xoxoxo

woah, has it really almost been a year since I posted? Crazy.

I've been keeping busy with the kids, school, and work. But I miss life here. This semester is over (woo!) and I am not taking any classes this summer so I am hoping to fall in love with SuicideGirls again.

Hope everyone is well. I promise I won't be such a stranger... xoxoxo

Holy Cow. It's been 8 years since I became a SuicideGirl. Tomorrow will be my anniversary! That is so surreal to me. Life has changed in all of the best ways since then. I've moved around the country, been married, divorced, and married again. Had 2 kids. Participated in planning events for SG, shootfests, and attending conventions. I've made life long friends on this site....

today feels like one of those days where everything is slipping through my fingers. and instead of fighting for the scraps, i just don't have any fight left. i just want to watch it slip through and disappear.

i am so tired.

so....as some of you may know, I grew up going to Catholic school. I was the only one in my family who went to private school, not sure why, but there it is. Overall it only shifted me from a young Christian to an Athiest...but that is neither here nor there.

What I did get out of it...was this joke. Which was the first long...

I've been having this very strange realization that I am entering my middle aged walk of life. I go to bed before 10, I switch to tea after 2 glasses of wine (except for last weekend when i tried to keep up with the cool kids and came home and puked on my bed like a loser old lady), I really REALLY revel in my...

Ryker was already wonderful as a girl, imagine as a middle age woman!

My goodness time seems to be moving at the speed of light. 2014 was a year of many joys and just as many trials. My family was faced with some of the biggest difficulties we've ever endured. We also were gifted with several new family members. All in all, I can't say I wouldn't change a thing, but I feel good about the direction life...

Anyone who follows me knows that I am one hell of a foodie. I mean, I could seriously spend my entire day in my kitchen and be completely content. Actually... I do spend a good portion of my time there, now that I think of it :) SG asked us to name our favorite recipe and feature it in our blog this week. I have...

This is amazeballs...and I'm THRILLED you posted the recipe because I misplaced the paper that I wrote it down on when you gave it to me forever ago!!

Holy fucking shit, you guys.

The last 3 months have been a whirlwind. I've had a baby, moved 900 miles across the country, and gone through some seriously trying experiences in the meantime.

This move from my hometown in Maryland (that I loved and was very happy in) wasn't by choice. It made it very hard on my marriage. My ex husband essentially demanded in...

That sucks you had to move under such stressful conditions. It sounded like quite the adventure, I've never heard of and Auto Train before. Sounds like an interesting way to travel, I wonder if they have one that goes from vegas to st. louis. Good luck with finding a house and settling in.
pyke:
Gosh! Just one thing after the other;/ But I'm glad the whole family is safely relocated and that the trip there was a cool experience! That crab feast sounds bloody incredible.
