A change of path...

Sorry I've been quiet lately boys and girls.

Unfortunately I have been in hospital with poor health. I was admitted for a scheduled operation on Friday 21st March (nothing serious), and have since been suffering from constant feelings of sickness, etc. I just generally am under the weather and poorly.
Thankfully this seems to be subsiding now so I have been able to get...

Sounds like a pretty big decision to make! I'm sure you'll look back and be glad you made it. All the best :)

I once thought I wanted to be a prosecuting attorney until I took a class and immediately knew it wasnt for me. Law is for a certain breed of person. And I just got a new iphone which nearly killed me to shelf my awesome phone case. I feel your pain.

Being poor sucks - what do you do about it?

16

As I said, being poor sucks.

This is probably a #firstworldproblems sort of blog, because I am not poor in the sense that I live below the poverty line. I have clothes on my back, a roof over my head, food in my belly, an education (though that's free in Scotland, where I live), and of course in order to be typing this I...

Last year, I lived with 280 euros, and that's nothing. So I was super, super poor. It's an horrible feeling. Bu I always considerd priviled because I have love in my life, a computer, a tiny room, food. It's my personnal fight to say myself "ok, you're poor but you're not on the street, so fight fight". But the economic model is actually rude for everyone : rich become more rich and poor become more poor. In France, we are so afraid of the situation in Greece, Portugal. We can't find a good job with a bachelor degree. Paris is so rich ! The France is rich too.

One day, you'll have your watch. I always wanted have tattoo, so I waited, waited and then, I have them. Be patient :)

What is your biggest fear?

26

Fears...

We all have them, right? Apparently every single person is born with two natural fears: the fear of loud noises, and the fear of falling. I read once that doctors used to make a loud noise behind a newborn babies head to test for deafness. If the baby cried, it could hear: if the baby didn't cry, it was deaf.

I'm trying...

the fear of waking up dead.....

jedoro:

I guess I've got two. The first is losing my independence, whether from injury or old age. I do my damn best to take care of myself and not rely on anyone else, and if I were to lose that, I just don't know what I'd do. The second is losing myself. In my line of work, if you go down the line far enough, you spend time with the monsters that you're keeping away from the rest of society. Well as Nietzsche said, "Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become a monster."

What could you not live without?

22

I thought I'd start posting some blogs that reveal a little more about me! Of course, anyone is always welcome to ask questions if you want to know something I haven't yet mentioned.

So… What could I not live without? I'll do this by category.

Person - As cliched as it sounds, the one person I could not live without is my Mummy...

February!

14

Hey there folks!

I'm just posting a cheeky little life update.

February is always a good month for me.

During the first weekend in February I met and went on a night out with two lovely people who are friends of my boyfriend. We had a fantastic night out on the Saturday to a local club called Snafu! Firstly though I got really drunk...

As long as you're a self-sufficient adult, act as childish as you want. I'm 23 and carrying a gun for work, but I still bring in fruit snacks and juice boxes. Yeah, yeah, that's not terribly childish, but the great thing about being an adult is that you get to live life how you want.

Happy Birthday, Maisie!!! ^^

Ebay!

Hey there boys and girls.

I am swamped with uni work just now, but I need money for books!
For this reason I am selling some of my clothes, shoes and handbags on Ebay.

Take a look!

There are even a couple of bits and pieces from shoots on there!

It sucks how much books for uni cost! I'm in my second year and still haven't bought any, most of what I need is online or in the library!

That one minion looks like he is ready to lose it in your lap. Haha. I guess most guys would too. Adorable prints and photos for sure.

Just a wee update...

So, what's been happening in the life of Maisie lately?

Well earlier this month, FRONT Magazine (a UK alternative lads mag) published 6 pages of a shoot Lass and I did. Has everyone got their copy yet? Here's the Front website.

Now I am also featured in Bizarre Magazine too! Check me out on p43.

Other than that I've been working non...

YAY! Finally I have a happy blog to post!

So, the past two weeks have been Pre-Freshers Week and Freshers Week for my university.

I am going back into my third year of a BA in Law and Management. I began my third year last year, but then fell ill with a stomach condition and was left with no choice but to suspend my studies...

You sound very busy this Autumn; but congratulations on you're new job, return to studies and all the fun you've been having.   I envy the freshmen you handle when they're homesick, from the photos you post of your parties, I think that many would be having too much fun to reminisce about home more than 'Hey mum, love you.'  Status.
