An old friend of mine was in line to get into a bar here one night. The stupid bar had a velvet rope set up and the bouncer was pretending to choose who he "let in," although everyone actually got in. After he passed over letting her in for the third time in a row, she walked up to him and said "Look, man, you're a part-time bouncer for a shitty bar in MISSOURI. I ran myself into the ground over the past week-and-a-half between not eating much, not sleeping much, being pretty stressed out, and drinking way too much. If I don't feel better by tomorrow, I think I'm looking at a round of antibiotics...
