Grave of the Fireflies, go watch it.

But be prepared for quite a story, and not a happy smiley the world is wonderful one.

Work sucks, well, it doesn't but quite a lot of shit went wrong over the weekend and i'm sure I've reduced my life expectancy by a couple of years with pure stress.

Oh well...

Another mobile update.

First day of official buisness went well IMO, we had a open-day for
invited guests on Saturday which had some problems with the IT system
which raised its ugly head again this morning too, fucking Windows XP
- will companies ever learn that the cheapest immediate solution
really isn't the cheapest in the long run. The provers don't cool
down fast enough...

I don't know what a prover is. That ^^^ post makes it a little clearer but I need more info.

I just read your blog - you were in Ed for G8?
It was about the best couple of weeks I can remember.

Hmm... the hangover has subsided away, seriously i haven't had one that bad in years - am i getting old? blah. Anyway, the root cause of my pain was our first staff party, we went Bowling and i scored three strikes in the final frame - they're called frames right?, i don't know much about Bowling to be honest. I doubt that. You'll be drinking again soon, I guess.

Staff drinking is always good fun, and always messy. Best way.

I like podcasts, I'm so used to having them now. It feels strange without them.
frantic:
nah you just need alcohol reset level sometimes! Keeps you in tow! gp should be good! and new work place, my store could do with that!

You have a keen eye, my friend. I hadn't noticed that. It's like tobacco companies referring to cigarettes as nicotine delivery devices.

What were the hangover ingredients?

Ah... i'm off to Scotland for the final time with work to watch the England vs. Ecuador match ~ something is very wrong about that, watching an England international in Scotland... I really hope England win, not only because i'm English and love my country but because England getting dropped out of the World Cup live on TV while i'm sitting in Scottyland surrounded by...

Today i have taken a day off and i'm spending it drinking my way though a case of TIGER and it tastes subtly different to the stuff you get in a bar though as it tastes quite a bit smoother if that makes any sense. Probably not, neither will any of the following:

I'm also watching the 3rd Volume of Ghost in the Shell SAC...

Well the Wii will have this 24/7 connection. It will basically be able to be online in standby so that you can download games when you are not there and recieve updaste and messages from friends ect.

Obviously the graphics of the Wii are not up to par of the 360 and PS3, but their approach seems more exiting and some of my favorite games at the moment are for the DS, where graphics are not the main concern.

I like the look of Oblivion on 360 but its not so greast that I want to by the console.

A DS lite at the end of the week is for me. I`ll keep my old one too for some 2 player action smile

Keep well mate, enjoy your day off.

Are you talking shite about Disney World? It is pretty crappy....

I looked up Tigers web site and was suprised. Doesnt look much like a beer company's web site. Does the beer taste better or worse from the bottle? I drink Newcastle from the tap but it doesnt taste right to me from the bottle.

I've arrived early for my train and my iPod is still on strike since i haven't had either a) the time or b) the motivation to contact Apple and have the thing carted away so i'm going to update my journal to pass the time.

Not much fresh has really happened, i watched a bit of the England match and i'm no football pundit but...

Yey! I got myself 48hrs off work!

I'm off somewhere today, not sure where right now but i don't feel much like hanging around the house - might take Zack to the sea and toss him in off a long pier or something not that it will actually concern him much as i'm sure he'll love looking for things to drag back home whist swimming...

Thats Crazy about the happy hardcore tunes in the kitchen at work, least you can have a laugh with them wink

As for the Home page, you have to click the word home and it should load a page with your PM inbox at the top (Below the usual banners and your profile pic), then have the 3 most recent blog updates from friends/bookmars with the last 6 pictures uploaded by your friends next to that, then below that is your groups list with the last updates in each group smile
If that isn't loaded I sugest you contact the help team for further assitance wink

Will you not be able to see any of it??

Hubby got his free ticket in the internal mail today. Turns out to be a 3-day pass eeek The closest I'll get to Silverstone will be seeing the highlights as the kids will no doubt want to play on the PS2 - as per usual tongue *sigh*

sounds good but how about we seel the place down but instead of drowning them pump nucleur radiation in slowly the put loads of biting venomus animals in and have a real life xmen/spiderman thing going, then once they get to powerful (tho they all seem thick to ever realise they are) just fill the place with bug spay and kill them off
