The heater has been fixed, it was a little of column A and column B. He was late on the bills and the heater was legitimately busted. The filter probably hadn't been replaced since the place was built, six years instead of six months will apparently do bad things to a heater.

Our heater isn't working, or my roommate didn't pay the bill so the house isn't much warmer than it is outside. The gauge reads 60, but it doesn't go below 60 and from where I'm sitting that estimate is optimistic. New Years turned out to be a lot of fun despite having to pay cover charges as a poor college student. I met some cute college friends of my friends whom I'll probably never see again. I tried some of that dancing business and it wasn't completely awful. I may try again some time, but it still isn't something I'd do on my own volition.
