Plus, I may be behind on this... but I'm in your favorites. That's so sweet and therefore totally unlike you. Come visit me.

The theremin was removed by it's rightful owner, sadly. Worse than that it was a vintage Moog theremin. I miss it terribly. There is just about every other noisy thing here, though. As far as where I live, I shall send you that info since people could be crazier than you.

It's been a month since I last updated. So here's what's going on in my life:

I quit the first series of six paintings. Just dropped them shortly before finishing. I've started several new ones, however.

I started a new music project with several people, but so far nobody else has contributed anything. This happens more often than not.

Since my last visit out of...

You're right on all accounts. Bob Log III is awesome and tucson is a stupid spelling of a silly name and I agree on all the sea and water counts. Now the question is, I agree with you entirely, does that make me crazy?
tawnya:
Ps i listened to your song and now I'm scared and I need someone to hold me but he's out walking the dog. confused

I flew to a different city and, quite by surprise and accident, fell for someone in a very big way. A startling way. A "I'm going to have to take back some things I'd boldly stated about my person in the past" kind of way, perhaps.

Maybe I'm not the cynical loner I thought I was. Even when I was in relationships before, I guess...

My friendships with people have gotten to be more and more interesting. Friends are now collaborators in various projects.

For example:
There is one person I found somehow through the internet. We have various things in common: both are photographers, experimental musicians, etc. We have eachothers' phone numbers, but had never spoken to eachother. Sometimes a phonecall is made, but it's sound. Noises. Live improvisational...

it sounds like a happy way to live life, for sure

you're visiting chicago? i loved it there, minus my hellish living situation and the frigid as fuck winters. summers are awwwesome there.

two questions, what mutual friend do we have? and, do you know where i'd be able to get darkroom access around these parts?
bettina:
I love food. And it's pretty much the only thing I can justify spending money on these days, so it becomes the main event. biggrin

I wasn't informed properly, but this is obviously
*OFFICIAL 'FREAK THE FUCK OUT FOR NO APPARENT REASON OUT OF THE CLEAR BLUE' WEEK!*

HOORAY!

So if anyone wants to celebrate by freaking the fuck out for no apparent reason out of the clear blue, feel free to do so.

It was nice meeting you at karaoke. You and your friend with the steps were nice.

I am alive! I am alive! I am social! Look at me!

Okay, that's really not bound to last very long.

Especially when I'm painting 6 portraits at a time, working on 2+ music projects and doing some photography as well.

I wonder if anyone else finds it amusing that there is a county fair in Enumclaw at the same time that it's revealed that...

Really.

"Please... think of the boners."
mistersatan:
Oh, it existed all right. Today it lives on in the hearts and minds of every Korean War veteran in this great nation. It was also (allegedly) sighted at the Wal-Mart in Boise, Idaho.

Things with artwork moving along just fine. For half a day I wondered and worried that I'd spent all my money on a lark and wouldn't be able to pull off what I'd anticipated. But things are moving along nicely now and I'm not starving or anything. The house is covered in canvases and paints.

1. I remembered - I love oil paints!
2. I...

Well, she said yes, but I'd appreciate a cake either way.

Really, just make both cakes and fed ex them to me.

I spent all my money on art supplies.

I knew I was poor. Terribly poor. Apparently I'd forgotten two small transactions which pushed me below zero. Now with fees I am 78 dollars in the hole until next Wednesday.

I have four dollars in my pocket. That is going to have to cover food and gas for the next five days.

This artwork... it'd better...

Tonight is the Summer Solstice AND a full moon, as far as I understand.

It seems like I should be doing something terribly constructive. And possibly alone.

(Somehow that ended up translating as "pull out a bottle of wine and an old Roland keyboard)

**EDIT / UPDATE**

I ended up going out with a couple of friends instead. Fun, but I wish I'd get more...

I am lacking the right environment. Not getting the artistic nourishment I require.

I have friends. Some of them are excellent artists, musicians, etc. But there's something missing. A sense of urgency, a sense of action. Things feel stagnant.

I need to do things. I could use some new influences in my life, on the personal level. All of my projects are coming along so...

You should take twenty steps back and start doing photographs to illustrate the moral themes in those old Golden Books that you should be old enough to remember. Taking twenty steps back will make the journey back artistically to where you are now seem like a new level of adventure. Maybe you will end up emerging in a wholly new land of wonderment that you never could have landed in otherwise. The way to move forward is to return to your roots.

My only problem with most cuban heel (especially them for some reason) is that they tend to be made for people with what I like to call "normal" length legs and I inevitably end up having to fold over the tops to be able to wear them. And I believe that everything, everywhere should have more argyle, I mean, it's fun just to say, let alone wear.
