Someone I know died recently ( I know, “shocker,” right? ) and their family was fighting because of songs they’d specifically chosen to be played in remembrance of them
With how much music means and has always meant to me, being such a huge factor in my life, I’m trying to think of songs that would be… befitting… of me
I have a list thus far, but if anyone could think of any suggestions for ‘Funerary Songs?’ – whatever the reason may be ( fitting of me, emotional, heart-wrenching, weirdly enjoyable, etc )
I intend to post the full (?) list at a later date, probably as one of my weekly posts...
My list so far, in order by song title ( no, I don’t expect everyone to know all of them ) :
