the new SG site is... interesting. though my computer hates it :(
I had to use a different computer to put up Friday's posting because - at least, for now - the site is disliked by IE9 via Vista *sighs*
( won't even allow me to log in )
ANYways...
from Friday::
I moved everything far enough away from the registers a couple days ago so they could look at my heat for a possible fix.
I can tell they were here at least yesterday, if not today as well... everything is now moved back (and cleaned heavily).
...I hope they have an idea of what the issue is - and a fix so that they won't have to drain the air out weekly so I have heat!
*sighs* it's going to be the season that I'll be needing the heat ALL too soon :(
for the past couple days my shakiness increased drastically... it's usually only every night (as it has been for over 15yrs now)
BUT throughout the entire day yesterday and most of the workday today it took concentration not to shake *deep sigh*
no, they never did figure out "why"
just as they never figured out why one or both of my legs will go numb at random intervals - usually if I lay down with my legs straightened
before my $$ ran out years ago, they had tested for several things and the next thing they were going to check for was nerve damage
it wasn't due to my heart issues or stress or [well, can't remember what the 3rd thing they tested was, just that it was spendy]
SO, for all I know, my nightly shakes and random numbness are due to "nerve damage" *shrugs*
guess that's as good an answer as any?
...though I do admit why I was shaky during the day could've been due to my lack of sleep lately exacerbating the issue(s) I already have
*shrugs*
I found an old doctor's note, circa 1991 - my lifelong chest pain is (or was at that time) apparently ::
"angina stenosis as result of aortic birth defect. Surgery not recommended at this time.
Follow up yearly. Patient refuses medication."
I guess I always WAS a stubborn bastard, neh?
And I haven't followed up since *shrugs* (heh) - ok, probably not a good thing, but still...
I'm used to the constant chest pain after all these years and I actually feel better than I did in my teens AND my 20s.
going by the date, I'm guessing this was what I had called the "fuckit" checkup.
you see, they didn't discover my birth defect until I was FIFTEEN, after the doctor I'd been seeing had passed away (old age).
shortly after that, I'd been told I would be lucky to live to be 18.
it was when I turned 18 (which would've been '91) that I was told I'd be lucky to live to be 21
... gauging by the year of this note, I'm guessing it's from that same checkup - hence, the "fuckit" checkup, when I tossed my medication along a Grand Forks roadside.
and, by gods, I've more than doubled their initial estimate (which I've mentioned before)
AND I have every intent to at least triple it... I'll be in my 50s when my daughters graduate :)
