Keep Dreaming Pasty White Boy : The 39 Week 27 Round Up/Update [T39W27RU/U]
Ah, another week, another post... and, as usual, not much t'say a'tall.
Didn't get any questions this week, so you'll note that This Week's Questions is... sparce. Send questions! Seriously, anything!
I got seriously addicted to Lost Girl - I can't remember who recommended it, but g'demn, I like it! Now I'm just waitin' for season 3 on netflix.
I find it humerous when people are shocked that I don't have a car and get around by foot... I haven't had a car since '99, so why in the 7 hells is it such a shock?!?
While I seldom get to an actual theatre nowadays, I still consider myself a cinemaphile - even if that means waiting until DVD to see a new film.
2013 looks to be another enjoyable one cinematically, with some intriguing as well as long-awaited sequels and remakes arriving - such as ::
A Good Day To Die Hard - Bruce Willis once again sets to prove age is no burden to action stardom (no matter what Mel Gibson said).
Oz The Great And Powerful - I'm hoping this is as entertaining as Return To Oz, if not moreso, and less like the '39 musical (yes, I said it).
G.I. Joe:Retaliation - looking to semi-reboot the franchise after the last, here's hoping the "new" Joes do it justice.
Evil Dead - this remake is looking to be some seriously twisted f'd-up film that's gonna kick some serious evil ass.
Iron Man 3 - this 1st installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the Avengers should continue Stark's continuing evolution.
Star Trek Into Darkness - this sequel to the new Trek will hopefully continue to set the stage for more excitement to come.
Fast And Furious 6/Fast Six - whatever the title may be, I've enjoyed this series and look forward to more.
The Hangover Part III - they're saying this will be the final Hangover, so hopefully they'll end things wonderfully.
Man Of Steel - this reboot of a reboot of a... yeh, we get it... if anything, it looks to be taking a darker direction.
Despicable Me 2 - Gru is back - 'nuff said
The Wolverine - taking the series into Japan - and supposedly darker territory - it's got to be better than Origins:Wolverine.
Percy Jackson & The Olympians:Sea Of Monsters - feels like I've been waiting forever for a sequel, now where's that sequel to Cirque du Freak?
Riddick - the 3rd film we've waited nearly a decade for, of the character Vin Diesel was built to portray.
Sin City:A Dame To Kill For - rumour after rumour after rumour, are they finally, actually, making the sequel?
Thor:The Dark World - this 2nd installment in the MCU following the Avengers will presumably build on Thor & Loki's return.
The Hunger Games:Catching Fire - following the first amazing film, will this sequel continue to amaze us?
Anchorman:The Legend Continues - an unexpected sequel to an enjoyable comedy that, we're told, may include... bowling.
