You can back the new Bards Tale on kickstarter. Any pledge of at least $20 gets emulated versions of the original trilogy, plus they are working to get III updated for current PCs or Macs. I still have my C64, but the disk drive quit around 1990. There was a local company that still repaired them in the mid to late 90s, but I was broke at the time. I had the original Bard's Tale for mine, too. btw, and the Internet Archive has all three.
